Delivery
Delivery lead time
Orders are delivered within 3-5 working days of dispatch to addresses nationwide, via our courier partner, Bob Go, and its network of couriers. Working days exclude weekends and South African public holidays. Remote or outlying areas may occasionally take a little longer; if that applies to your delivery, we’ll let you know at checkout or by email.
Delivery is free on orders over R1,500. For orders under this threshold, a delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order.
Tracking your order
Once your order has been handed to our courier, you’ll receive a tracking notification, and you can track it at any time from Track My Order or from the Orders tab in My Account. Both show live courier status, an estimated delivery date, and the full tracking history for your shipment.
Collection points
Where available in your area, you can choose a locker or counter collection point at checkout instead of a door delivery.
Delivery issues
Please inspect your parcel on delivery. If it arrives damaged, or a delivery is significantly delayed beyond the estimate shown on your tracking page, contact us at support@airlectronics.co.za with your order number and we’ll sort it out.
Returns
30-day change-of-mind returns
If you’ve simply changed your mind, you may return most products within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging with all accessories included. This is a voluntary policy that goes beyond the statutory minimum. Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, consumers who buy electronically are entitled to cancel the transaction without reason or penalty within 7 days of receiving the goods; our 30-day window extends that right considerably.
A few categories are excluded from change-of-mind returns, consistent with ECTA: opened software, digital licence codes and gift cards once redeemed, and items that have been customised or personalised to your specification. This doesn’t affect your separate right to a repair, replacement or refund for a faulty product; see Warranty & Guarantee.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If a product is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, you’re covered by the Consumer Protection Act’s implied warranty of quality regardless of any store return window; see our Warranty & Guarantee page for how that works and how to claim.
How to request a return
- Go to My Account → Orders, find your order, and select Request a Return.
- Choose the item(s), quantity, and reason for the return, and add a photo if the item is damaged or faulty.
- Submitting the form does not automatically trigger a refund; our team reviews every request and confirms whether it’s approved, usually within 2 business days.
- Once approved, we’ll arrange collection or provide a return address, and process your refund to your original payment method once the returned item is received and checked.
Refunds are processed via Yoco to your original payment method, typically within 5-10 working days of the returned item being received and approved.
Note: for a short window while an order is actively with the courier for delivery, a return or cancellation request may need to wait until that shipment is confirmed delivered or returned to us, to avoid a mix-up with a parcel already in transit. This doesn’t affect your right to a refund; it just means the timing of processing it may be slightly delayed for orders that have just shipped.
